Panos Georgiou

Program Director, Global Europe Program

Panos Georgiou serves as the Director of the Global Europe Program at the Council for Global Cooperation where he leads programs and projects relating to Europe. 

Having participated in several international seminars and conferences, he has an extensive experience in foreign policy with special focus on international relations, Cold War studies and European Union affairs. He has organised independent research on complex social, economic and geopolitical issues taking place in Europe, Eurasia, Middle East, China and the United States.

Panos is also an expert in the field of political marketing and advocacy with the knowledge of the most efficient strategies that political elites use in order to promote their interests and how they should run a successful campaign. He is associated with several organisations such as: American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association, Hellenic organisation of New Political Scientists and others. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and public administration from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a double masters degree in political marketing and communications from the Rome Business School and Valencian International University, Rome.
