Yash Singh

Researcher, The Cold War Project

Yash Singh is a researcher of The Cold War Project vertex at the Council for Global Cooperation. Prior to joining the CGC, Singh was an intern at the Newsmen, an online news portal where he has written numerous media reports and created several in-detailed explainers related to critical geopolitical events of the day.

Singh is an avid observer of the political and security situations surrounding the present day Russian Federation. Given the intertwined fortunes of Russia, Central and South Asia, as apparent from critical historical phenomena such as the Great Game and the Cold War, his research interests revolve around the political and economic history of the Afghanistan-Pakistan region as well.

Singh holds a masters degree in International Relations from the South Asian University, New Delhi.
